When your check and Information Form are received, you are assigned a Rural Fire number. We will send you a sign (free of charge for new members) to post on your property. Write your membership number on your sign. If your current sign is in poor condition, you may also request a new sign by completing the short form below. There is a $5 charge for all additional signs.

Your sign should be posted in a conspicuous place on your property so that the Department of Emergency Services team can easily see it when they are searching for your property in the event of a fire. Possible recommended places to post the sign would be on your mailbox post, a fence at the outset of your property, or on some other permanent fixture at the end of your driveway.
